Hoka Speedgoat Trail Running Shoes

Inspired by Karl Melzter and the rugged conditions of the Speedgoat 50K, the Speedgoat trail shoe is designed to take on all things technical. Aggressive 4mm lugs and an injection moulded EVA midsole make this the ultimate protective, responsive and tough trail running shoe.

No-Sew Construction Upper

Here, the Speedgoat receives an updated upper with a focus on lightweight comfort. Rocking air mesh, it offers lighter weight and allows air to fully permeate the shoe, promoting a cooler, drier and altogether more pleasant environment. Hoka promote the Structural No Sew SpeedFrame Overlays which provide necessary stabilisation around the midfoot from medial to lateral; reducing in-shoe slippage for a smooth, distraction-free ride. A seamless interior reduces irritation and blistering, as well as the number of potential weak points throughout the shoe that would otherwise be prone to tearing or breakage. A softer, lightly padded tongue merges into the upper to provide increased protection and comfort across the foot.

Balanced Stage Meta-Rocker Midsole

An injected full-length EVA platform resides in the midsole to deliver durable and responsive cushioning. Lightweight and plush, it will spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving terrain. Lying atop the midsole, is the Ortholite insole; providing an extra layer of moisturing-wicking cushion and comfort. They solve the most common in-shoe problems by creating a cooler, drier and healthier foot environment with innovative technology.

Equipped with the Balanced Stage Meta-Rocker Geometry, this shoe is designed to increase running efficiency. The Meta-Rocker midsole geometry promises to help increase the economy of running performance and produce an accurate foot roll through the gait cycle.
