Full-Grain Leather Upper
>The upper of the Hoka Gaviota LTR has been constructed using full-grain leather which is highly durable to provide exceptional comfort and protection as you run. The leather keeps the feet protected from any debris or sharp objects you may encounter while running as well as minimising the risk of wear and tear of the material. As well as being durable, the upper promotes effective moisture-wicking properties by eradicating the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to leave you feeling cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, Moulded Ortholite Sockliner has been added inside the shoe to offer additional cushioning under the foot for a comfortable wear.
Meta-Rocker Midsole
The midsole of the Hoka Gaviota has been constructed with a Late Stage Meta-Rocker which encourages the foot to move through the natural gait cycle smoothly, helping to prevent injury and discomfort and allowing the foot to smoothly roll from impact at the heel through to toe-off. The Hoka specific midsole feature J-Frame has been used in the Gaviota's midsole as it helps to support the foot as well as help with rebound and offers durability to the cushioning under the foot.
Zonal Rubber Outsole
A Moderate Heel Bevel has been added to the outsole which helps to guide the foot into a natural position as the heel meets the foot and begins to roll through the gait cycle, helping to offer a smooth and effective transition. Zonal rubber has been added to key areas of the outsole which is superbly durable to keep the shoe grip in good condition for longer.
