Breathable Engineered Knit Upper
As you begin to exercise, the air inside the shoe will start to warm up, and the upper will work to allow the air to flow out of the shoe. Once it has escaped, the material will allow cooler air from outside to permeate the layer. This will work constantly to keep you feeling constantly comfortable due to the ventilation. The open knit construction across the midfoot and the forefoot will offer you increased breathability. Thicker material covers the forefoot and the heel, which will provide supreme protection to vulnerable areas. The shoe uses a traditional lacing system, and additionally, it has double eyelets which will create a stronger lockdown across the instep. A flat tongue will sit on top of the foot comfortable, with reduced risk of rubbing and chafing. A heel loop will allow you to easily carry the shoes around with you. The soft insole will mould to your foot shape for personalised comfort.
Cushioned EVA Midsole
The EVA midsole will provide you with supreme comfort and protection in every step that you take. Towards the top, the EVA is extremely soft, which will provide you with instant cushioning. This will make every step feel soft and comfortable, reducing the feet from suffering injuries and fatigue. It will also reduce the load put on the knees and ankles, allowing you to keep going for longer. Towards the bottom, the EVA is firmer and will work to prevent any heavy shocks from reaching the sole of the foot. The heavy impacts from the ground combined with the flexion of the midsole on every stride will provide you with a good level of rebound and response, giving you an added spring in your step. Hoka have used their Meta-Rocker technology in the sole of the shoe. The unique shape of the midsole is designed like a wheel, which makes the gait cycle more fluent, comfortable and responsive. This will give you an added advantage in every step that you take.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Made from durable rubber, the outsole of the Hoka Hupana Flow is able to form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces. The material will secure your foot into place whether that is when out running or in the gym giving you a solid and secure base to kick off from. The rubber will stand up against abuse from hard surfaces, which will improve the long-term functionality of the shoe. When flexed, the outsole has small grooves that will extend. This provides multiple benefits like securing the feet in place whilst adding greater flexibility without causing any damage to the shoe.
