Everything about the Toa GORE-TEX has been evaluated from a functional and weight-saving perspective. From the durable and breathable synthetic upper, to the rubberized foam midsole and the Vibram Megagrip outsole lugs, all elements are technically solid and efficiently lightweight. GORE-TEX Upper
Surrounding the upper of the Sky Toa is a GORE-TEX membrane. This extremely durable and breathable membrane will prevent any moisture from entering the shoe and causing any discomfort. Despite blocking moisture out, the GORE-TEX membrane still allows air to enter and exit freely, helping you to maintain a comfortable, regulated temperature whilst keeping the elements firmly locked out. Constructed with a full-grain Nubuck leather upper, the Hoka Sky Tos Walking Boots deliver high durability and exceptional support against treacherous trails. The high-cut collar of the Sky Toa offers stability around the ankle and Achilles when navigating uneven terrain. The high collar works with the adjustable lacing system to provide a secure, locked down fit to reduce in shoe slippage and increase support regardless of your foot type. An additional heel strap secures the foot and heel in place during steep descents for increased support and stability.
Rubberised Midsole
A Rangi midsole foam technology aids with durable cushioning and helps with a responsive feel. The cushioning midsole works hard to absorb impact forces that are created during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle, then transfers the energy created to the forefoot where it is used to propel you forward.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
Vibram Megagrip covers the entire outsole for a full ground contact design. The aggressive Vibram lugs offer great grip and traction on multi-surfaces for a truly stable and comfortable ride. Having exceptional traction will allow you to tackle difficult or arduous terrain with full confidence as well as comfort. In addition, Multi-directional lugs take supreme grip up a notch, keeping you on your feet on varied terrains whether ascending or descending, wet or dry.
