Huub Core Tri Suit

Since 2014 Huub have pioneered the sleeved tri suit. By creating a harmony of fabrics, coatings and testing designs Huub can now offer what they believe to be the perfect alternative to our multi award winning top or the range long distance tri suit.

Featuring Coldblack technology guarantees a minimum UPF 30 protection when applied to any textile in any colour without affecting the look or feel of the product. This tri suit has a close body fit with a front zip, side pockets that store energy gels and a lightweight high-density and low profile 3D chamois. A low friction, lower weight, lower fluid and heat absorption combines with a fit pattern unique to Huub we felt the days of research and testing have created a garment you'll never want to take off.

If you have sharp nails, wearing gloves is recommended to prevent them from snagging on the material and potentially causing damage to it. Specially designed to keep you comfortable, protected and enhanced in open water, the construction and feel of the tri suit will mean that no outdoor water is a barrier. HUUB recommends that if you are on the border of two different sizes, going a size up rather than down would result in a better fit. It is vitally important to get a close fitting tri suit. Once you have an optimally fitted wetsuit on it feels like a second skin which is what makes it so effective when you are in the water. But with a garment that fits so tightly, the challenge is in how to get it on without damaging the suit or chafing or trapping your skin. Adjusting the suit to fit your body comfortably so that it doesn't cause discomfort whilst you are swimming also needs a little practice.
