The Trailshell running jacket is designed for lightweight racing and intense training runs in wet conditions, this hooded waterproof running jacket boasts super-soft Pertex Shield fabric for increased comfort and a full-length zip that makes it easier and quicker to put on/take off.
Designed to provide durable wind and water protection with excellent breathability, the Inov8 Trailshell Full-Zip Jacket incorporates Pertex Shield into its fabrication. Intended for intense mountain pursuits Pertex shield allows you to move fast and stay comfortable; the light face fabric is extremely breathable reducing condensation build-up within the garment and ensuring constant ventilation. Pertex Shield's waterproof and windproof membrane provides all-weather protection. With a 20,000 hydrostatic head, this jacket will keep you comfortable and dry in the heaviest showers. The Trailshell is also highly breathable as it allows cool air to permeate throughout the entire construction to keep you cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Boasting a breathability rating of 20,000 B-1 the jacket allows you to regulate your body temperature and create a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in.
A pre-shaped hood with flexible peak is quick and easy to use, so when the rain starts to fall, you can shape the hood and cover your head quickly and with little hassle. Additionally, a full-zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up. As well as this, pit zips also exist to provide ventilation should you need it. The pit zips sit under the arms and can be opened in hotter climates to increase airflow and ventilation. Lastly, an internal zip pocket allows for ample storage space for all your essential items.
