Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale
For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.
The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.
Inov8 have graded the F-Lite 230 Training Shoes as Grade 2.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the F-Lite 230 is made from an incredibly lightweight mesh fabric. This allows you to train unrestricted and with full freedom of movement. The upper is constructed from an internally structured one piece, which allows the shoe to adapt to the situation it is in. The fabric used is highly breathable, which is crucial during intense training sessions. As well as allowing ventilation to the foot, cooling the wearer during exercise, the shoe allows sweat molecules to leave the skin and pass to the surface of the fabric, where it can then be evaporated. This results in the wearer being fresh and dry - and ready to tackle their session with maximum efficiency.
Additionally, supporting the midfoot and securing lockdown the F-lite 230 utilises Met Cradle design. This is where the upper webbing support on the shoe is anatomically positioned to cradle the midsection extending to the eyelets to provide a secure hold to the feet. Giving you greater stability and control whilst powering through your active training regime. Added strength materialises in a rugged upper format; a durable toe bumper has been reconstructed for ultimate protection against burpee fatigue.
EVA Midsole
The midsole contains injected EVA, which possesses protective and comfortable benefits. Towards the top, the EVA is soft and gentle which increases comfort, as it softens downward pressure. This will be especially beneficial as you begin to lift weights or increase the intensity of the workout as you won't be feeling any unnecessary pain on your feet. In addition, the EVA towards the bottom of the midsole is shock absorbing, which is then returned as rebound energy. Not only will this protect your feet, but you will also benefit from the energy produced down to the extremely reactive midsole. Graphene Outsole
This training shoe contains an industry-changing outsole. Inov8 have developed the world's first Graphene sole, which adds outstanding grip and traction. Graphene is thin, lightweight, and flexible, yet is 200x stronger than steel. This infusion of graphene with a sticky outsole delivers the world's toughest grip, offering great traction and control to your workouts.
Utilised into the outsole is Inov-8's Sticky rubber compound has been specially developed using climbing rubber technology. The 360-degree Rope-tec system extended onto the shoes upper which deliver traction and durability on rope climbs and descents optimises grip in wet conditions, providing superior floor fighting traction. Unifying the outsole, Meta-Flex forefoot flex grooves and Fascia Band tech can be found along the outsole lending the forefoot greater freedom of movement. This allows the shoe to become more receptive and have greater propulsion underfoot.
