Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale

For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the F-LITE 270 Training Shoes as Grade 3.

Ballistic Nylon Upper

Designed to provide comfort and protection on tough training days, the Inov8 F-LITE 270 Training Shoes have been constructed using a ballistic nylon upper. The super durable upper works to protect the feet when training so you can continue with complete confidence. The strong nylon upper resists wear and tear and is snag-resistant ensuring ultimate durability. As well as been durable, the upper is also highly breathable to keep you cool and comfortable at all times. The upper allows cool air to flow throughout the construction to keep you cool when temperatures begin to rise; the increase in ventilation creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. A foam backer is embedded beneath the upper to enhance comfort and protected whilst a heel panel wraps around the back of the foot to enhance stability and support. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage.

EVA Midsole

The midsole of the Inov8 F-LITE 270 Training Shoes has been constructed using a lightweight EVA. The full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on training days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step.

Rope-Tec Outsole

The durable rubber outsole has been infused with Rope-Tec technology to ensure stable traction and durability. The outsole ensures exceptional grip and traction, to deliver a firm, assured footing. The underfoot grip is crucial for cross-fit exercises and general resistance training as it allows your feet to move whilst being incredibly stable; thus ensuring a greater freedom of movement. A Rope-tec system has been used on the outsole to deliver traction and durability on rope climbs. The system extends from the outsole and into the upper to ensure complete protection and optimised grip in and out of the shoe. Unifying the outsole, Meta-Flex forefoot flex grooves and Fascia Band tech can be found along the outsole lending the forefoot greater freedom of movement. This allows the shoe to become more receptive and have a greater propulsion underfoot, this is granted to the wearer.
