Inov8 X-Talon 255 Trail Running Shoes

A hard-wearing ballistic nylon upper offers protection and durability, while a roomier fit and TPU Adapter fit cradle keeps your foot comfortable and secure.
Synthetic Upper
The synthetic upper materials such as the protective rand and gusseted tongue are both non-water absorbing, meaning the shoe remains at its lightweight best. The protective rand and gusseted tongue work together in harmony to ensure outstanding protection against stones and other types of debris. the upper offers a tough mesh and overlays that protect the foot from the tricky terrain as well as work hard to provide comfort. The mesh allows air to permeate the show providing a constant supply of fresh cool air, whilst the overlays work to keep structure and support. Finally, the TPU Adapter Cradle boasts a wider fit to limit internal movement, keeping your foot secure so you can react fast and with agility over all terrain.
EVA Midsole
The midsole for the Inov8 X-Talon 255 is set with an Injected EVA Foam for resilient cushioning with maximum memory retention. The active compound reduces resistance and forces pressed upon the underfoot, engaging a smooth stride through transition and over uneven grounds. This design makes the X-Talon 255 a great choice for those that want to retain a degree of cushioning whilst utilising proprioception an underfoot feel.
StickyGrip Outsole
The X-Talon 255 features a new to the industry outsole rubber compound unique to Inov8 called StickyGrip. This rubber compound delivers better traction than its predecessor over both wet and dry underfoot conditions. the X-Talons iconic 8mm studs not only claw through soft terrain but also hold firm on the harder ground making these shoes perfect for a variety of trails. the shoes utilise multi-direction lugs of Inov-8's own design, providing optimal traction when climbing, descending and contouring.
