Waterproof Upper

The upper of the Scrambler 2 incorporates a waterproof and breathable Texapore membrane that ensures that your feet stay dry whilst also improving the internal foot climate. Jack Wolfskins Texapore technology envelopes the foot and upper in a fully waterproof membrane meaning that rain or puddles are no problem. Featuring a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm and breathability of 3,400 g/m2/24h, this Texapore upper provides reliable protection against bad weather. The long eyestay ensures precise lacing adjustment so that the shoe stays feeling snug and comfortable for short trips and day hikes. Lastly, the upper is very lightweight whilst still offering protection from bumps and scrapes on uneven terrain thanks to the protective rubber toe cap.

A PU insole and EVA heel foam work to cushion the foot for comfortable wear. This EVA cushioning delivers ultra-cushioned comfort without compromising the lightweight feel of the shoe keeping you comfortable on your feet and able to keep moving mile after mile. As well as excellent cushioning, the PU insole provides great breathability and moisture transport to keep you feeling comfortable as you go.

Secure-Grip Vibram Outsole

Finishing the Scrambler 2 is a robust, high traction Vibram outsole ideal for hiking and scrambling. The deep lugs ensure superior traction suited to steep and demanding terrain so that you can continue on your hike no matter where the trail takes you.
