Designed for comfort and easy access on alpine days out, the Jack Wolfskin Kamui 24 Backpack is the perfect pack for winter sports lovers.
Designed to store all the essentials without restricting movement in any way, the Kamui 24 is perfect for active days out. Able to store a large number of items, the backpack has a large main compartment. Within this, there is an inner pocket for the storage of smaller items. This can also double up as a water bladder. As well as this, the backpack has a front pocket and two inner pockets. This gives you a large amount of space to store items neatly and comfortably, perfect for when you need to quickly grab an item. To improve the strength and durability of the backpack, Jack Wolfskin have used a variety of different technologies and strong materials. Using CROSS RIP 300D, this lightweight fabric will reinforce threads on the base and body of the backpack. It also uses CROSSLINK PE on the frame, cross-linked polyethylene material with high tensile strength and durability. These combined ensure that the lightweight backpack is able to stand up against heavy forces pushing and pulling against it. As well as the CROSS RIP, the backpack uses Armatech Plus. This is an abrasion-resistant fabric made of textured polyester yarns. The reverse of the fabric is coated with polyurethane, making it permanently waterproof, colourfast and UV-resistant.
To ensure that you will always feel comfortable and non-restricted during activity, the backpack uses an ACS back system. This will provide the optimal combination of load control and freedom of movement, both on and off the piste. The system will also encourage air to enter and exit at the back, keeping you feeling fresh and reducing the risk of overheating. The straps can be adjusted quickly and easily, as can the sternum strap. The sternum strap also has an attached SOS whistle in case of emergency situations. With loops and attachable areas on the straps, this will allow you to attach items like skiing poles, a helmet and other equipment for quick and easy access. An integrated rain cover in the base compartment will allow you to keep everything sheltered should the weather take a turn. The backpack is bluesign approved, an independent report that ensures environmentally friendly and safe production, as well as the highest standards concerning use of resources, consumer protection, water and air emissions as well as workplace safety.
