Texapore Ecosphere fabric is used as it is extremely robust for areas that are most exposed to wear and tear, for extra durability and protection. The waterproofing is 100% PFC-free, so you can wear the Great Snow Jacket with a clear conscience. Texapore ecosphere insulation provides invaluable warmth and comfort. The synthetic insulation traps escaping heat within its fibres to ensure increased warmth when the temperature plummets.
The Great Snow Jacket is extremely breathable, so if you work up a sweat on the steep slopes, you'll still feel dry and comfortable. When you're playing hard in the snow you're going to get warm, so the jacket is equipped with pit zips for a quick blast of fresh air when it's most needed. Featuring a detachable tunnel hood with adjustable volume and field of vision, the jacket is helmet compatible. The jacket has plenty of pockets for your important bit and pieces. And further included, is a separate ski pass pocket and a passive RECCO responder chip. Jack Wolfskin's RECCO technology makes it possible to find people who have gone missing, during sports activities in both summer and winter. The Great Snow Jacket isn't just good to ski in, it's good for the planet too. The main fabric is dyed using Jack Wolfskin's new, environmentally friendly FUTURE DYE process. Allowing for its Bluesign and Green Button certifications, this process uses much less water and far fewer chemicals than conventional dyeing methods.
