Jack Wolfskin Denali 85 Backpack
Large enough to carry all the gear you need on backpacking trips into the wilderness, the Jack Wolfskin Denali 85 Backpack will give you enough space to carry all the essentials for multiple days away.
Designed to carry extremely heavy loads, the backpack uses a system that will help you carry it with ease and comfort. Using X-TRANSITION, this is designed to take excessive weight and spread it evenly, leaving you with a more manageable and comfortable feel when carrying. The X-TRANSITION has thick padding on the back and an aluminium frame for added stability. The back length can be adjusted. And if you're not carrying a full pack, the compression straps on the sides, base and under the front flap can be used to reduce the volume. The main compartment is extremely spacious, perfect for carrying all types of equipment around. Not only is there an extremely large space to carry items, but there are also other compartments within the bag. There is a zipped internal divider that can be used to create a separate space at the bottom of the pack, ideal for sleeping bags or clothing. Smaller items can be stored away neatly in the front compartment, which will also allow easy access. Side pockets will allow you to carry a vacuum flask or a water bottle, which again can be quickly accessed when on the move. The waistbelt has a 2-in-1 pocket that can also convert into a small pocket. This means you can use it for energy bars or bottle holsters as it has an elasticated retainer cord. The lid of the backpack can also convert into a day pack, making it easy for shorter day excursions where you don't have to lug the whole pack around with you.
Multiple materials are used on the backpack to ensure that all of your items are protected by an extremely durable shield. The body of the backpack uses CROSS RIP 280D, a lightweight material with reinforcement threads that is able to stand up agains pulling and forces against it. This will protect itself and the contents inside the backpack effectively. Similarly, the base uses CROSS RIP 300D which will also mean that heavy weights will be held up. The frame uses ALUMINIUM HONEY COMB, an extremely lightweight and dimensional frame that provides excellent strength to weight ration. The backpack has an occipital cavity, which results in improved carry comfort, as well as ensuring that you have a wide range of movement guaranteed without any restriction whatsoever. An adjustable sternum system strap will make it easy to change the fit for comfort. Attached to the sternum strap is an SOS whistle. On the sides, there are lashing straps that are compatible with trekking poles. Further attachment loops will allow you to carry all other smaller items. Equipped with a hydration system, there is a tube duct and fastener which will allow you quick and easy access to water. An integrated rain cover in the lid will provide protection to the backpack from rainfall. A padded carry handle on the front will allow you to quickly and easily pick the pack up. Base reflectors improve visibility and safety. The whole bag is made using PFC-free materials, making it a greener product. The backpack is tested and approved by the mountain guides at the Alpine School Innsbruck.
