The front zip on the inner jacket is attached to the second zip on the outer jacket while fastening loops on the sleeves and at the neck prevent it from slipping. For the outer coat, Jack Wolfskin utilises durable Texapore Wooltec Heather hardshell fabric. This revolutionary material is constructed using a water-repellent coating and a waterproof PU membrane, making the Golden Peak jacket extremely waterproof and wind-resistant. The waterproofing is 100% PFC-free, using sustainable methods to develop the material so that you can feel confident that you're doing your bit for the environment. The fabric has a subtle herringbone pattern and a pleasantly soft, natural feel. A drawcord at the waist allows you to tweak the fit to create the style that suits you best. If you get caught out in a shower or snow flurry, the adjustable hood keeps your head fully protected.
For the inner coat, Microguard Ecosphere padding is used, the 100% recycled synthetic insulation material provides the cosy warmth you need in cold temperatures. Microguard Ecosphere insulation is quick-drying and characterised by a high degree of heat retention. The warming fabrication reflects body heat for instant warmth on cold days. And when all you need is weather protection or a cosy mid-layer, simply undo the system zip and the two coats can be worn separately. With its composition of recycled synthetic fibre insulation and PFC-Free waterproofing, the Golden Peak 3-in-1 Jacket has earned itself Bluesign and Green Button certifications for its environmentally friendly production.
