With a Texapore Ecosphere Future Dye Stretch shell fabric outer layer, the Snow Summit Jacket is extremely waterproof and breathable. Composed of 95% recycled polyester and dyed with the innovative environmentally friendly Future Dye process, this jacket is a prime example of Jack Wolfskin's sustainable clothing construction. Allowing for its Bluesign and Green Button certifications, this process uses much less water and far fewer chemicals than conventional dyeing methods. Also featured is Texapore O2+ Future Dye fabric, providing superb climate comfort and delivering reliable protection from the rain and snow. This combination of materials is used as it is extremely robust and defends against wear and tear, for extra durability and protection. The fabric on the shoulders is highly abrasion-resistant to cope with the wear and tear caused by the straps of your pack, and the same fabric is used on the elbows of the jacket. The waterproofing is 100% PFC-free, so you can wear the Snow Summit Jacket with a clear conscience. The Microguard ecosphere insulation is body-mapped for improved thermal comfort where you need it most, contributes invaluable warmth and comfort. The recycled synthetic fibre insulation traps escaping heat within to ensure increased warmth when the temperature plummets. The freedom of movement is superb, and there is zero water ingress or sweat build-up to spoil your enjoyment.
The Snow Summit Jacket is extremely breathable, mesh fabric in the back and shoulders provides extra ventilation so if you work up a sweat on the steep slopes, you'll still feel dry and comfortable. When you're playing hard in the snow you're going to get warm, so the jacket is also equipped with ventilation zips for a quick blast of fresh air when it's most needed. Featuring a detachable hood with adjustable volume and field of vision. The jacket has plenty of pockets for your important bit and pieces. And further included, is a separate ski pass pocket and a passive RECCO responder chip. Jack Wolfskin's RECCO technology makes it easy for emergency services to pinpoint your location in the event of an emergency.
