Designed to keep you protected at all times, the Jack Wolfskin Fairmont Jacket is the perfect addition to your outdoor wardrobe. Featuring Jack Wolfskin's signature Stormlock Softshell, the jacket works to block out cold winds and repels light rain. The lightweight fabrication works to block out cold winds so you can remain comfortable and warm in the harshest of conditions. As well as this, the fabrication is also water-resistant meaning it repels light rain and snow to keep you dry during showers. Within the jacket, 90/10 goose down at 700 fill keeps you warm in extreme conditions. The Down provides maximum loft to keep you warm and snug. Down insulation has an advanced treatment applied that resists heat robbing moisture and retains its loft even in damp conditions, making it perfect for wet weather adventures. The 700-fill down insulation offers optimal warmth-to-weight ratio and compressibility. Down provides more insulation per ounce than any other material, making it the optimal insulator. 700 fill power is on the higher end of the downrating scale, so you can rely on it providing great warmth and comfort in adverse conditions. To provide increased comfort and warmth, Microguard Ecosphere has been used within the jacket. The synthetic fibres have the advantage of being very robust and are unaffected by moisture. Even if the insulating fill gets wet, it loses none of its thermal performance. The synthetic insulation prevents body heat from escaping to keep comfortable and warm at all times.
To ensure added protection on cold winter days, the detachable hood can be used to shield the face in harsh weather. The hood features an adjustable volume and field of vision to ensure a close and comfortable fit that won't affect your vision. The hood can also be stowed into the jacket's collar when the sun begins to shine again. The full zip exists for complete temperature control, simply zip it down when temperatures rise to release an intolerable heat build-up or when temperatures drop, it can be worn up to seal in escaping heat. The adjustable hem allows you to cinch down the fit; the cinched fit is perfect for sealing in escaping heat on cold days. Two hand pockets are perfect for small essential whilst and inner pocket is perfect for valuables. Completing the jacket is a pack bag that allows you to safely store the jacket.
