Featuring Jack Wolfskin's signature Stormlock Softshell, the gilet works to block out cold winds and repels light rain. The lightweight fabrication works to block out cold winds so you can remain comfortable and warm in the harshest of conditions. As well as this, the fabrication is also water-resistant meaning it repels light rain and snow to keep you dry during showers. To provide increased comfort and warmth, Microguard Ecosphere has been used within the gilet. The synthetic fibres have the advantage of being very robust and are unaffected by moisture. Even if the insulating fill gets wet, it loses none of its thermal performance. The synthetic insulation prevents body heat from escaping to keep comfortable and warm at all times. Function 65 Twill fabric has been used in the shoulders to provide increased durability. The soft yet robust fabric helps to combat the wear and tear caused by the shoulder straps of your pack. The full zip exists for complete temperature control, simply zip it down when temperatures rise to release an intolerable heat build-up or when temperatures drop, it can be worn up to seal in escaping heat. Lastly, two hand pockets are perfect for small essential whilst and inner pocket is perfect for valuables.
