Made for the mountains. The Mountain Down Jacket is a lightweight, down insulated jacket developed in collaboration with the mountain guides at the Alpine School Innsbruck. For storage, the jacket stows compactly in its own pocket. So wherever you go, the jacket can go too.
Fabricated using a Stormlock 15D Ripstop construction, the Mountain Down Jacket is extremely lightweight and durable. Stormlock is windproof and water-resistant, protecting you from the elements by keeping you warm, protected, and well ventilated. With woven Ripstop reinforcement threads, the material is abrasion-resistant allowing for long-lasting, comfortable wear. As well as this, the addition of a 90/10 duck down (700 cuin fill power) has been used within the jacket to keep you comfortable and warm when temperatures drop. The efficient insulation traps escaping heat within its fibres to ensure increased warmth when the temperature plummets ensuring that you stay warm in the harshest of conditions. The extra smooth fabric retains high breathability, for all year round wearability and uncompromising versatility. The fabrication allows fresh air to flow throughout the garment whilst, at the same time allowing stale, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Furthermore, the water-resistant coating is 100% PFC-free, so you can wear the Mountain Down Jacket with a clear conscience, knowing that you're supporting sustainable, environmentally friendly production methods.
To ensure added protection on cold winter days, the fixed hood can be used to shield the face in harsh weather. The hood features an adjustable volume and field of vision to ensure a close and comfortable fit that won't affect your vision. Two zip hand pockets are perfect for securely storing essential items, and can be used to warm your hands when the temperature drops. For efficient, compact storage, the Mountain Down stows compactly in its own pocket. So wherever you go, the jacket can go too. Lastly, the engineered sleeve cut provides extra freedom of motion ensuring you can enjoy unrestricted movement all day long.
