Designed using Microguard Superloft, this is the ideal alternative to down. It has good lofting capabilities and delivers maximum warmth at a relatively low weight. Providing you with similar warmth to down, the superloft is ideal for insulation ensuring you remain warm in colder conditions. The windproof and tear-resistant Stormlock outer fabric shuts out the cold wind and boosts the insulation performance. The water-repellent finish ensures you are protected from light rain, keeping you protected. The gilet also uses Nanuk Dynamic, a technology. This is a bi-elastic material that will create a warm insulated feel within, whilst also having a smooth outer layer. A full-zip is easily adjusted to seal heat in, and should you feel too warm it will also allow air to escape out and keep you feeling warm and comfortable. Two pockets on both sides allow secure storage for essentials, whilst there is also a chest pocket that is easy to use. Flat-lying seams within the gilet will remove the risk of irritation by rubbing and chafing.
