This mountaineering pack from Jack Wolfskin has been specifically designed for mountain sports with packing options for all your equipment. Your trekking poles and ice axe can be lashed to the front of the pack, so they're easy to grab when you need them. Your map goes in the side pocket, shell jacket in the lid pocket and sunblock in the handy little pocket on the waist belt. The main compartment is waterproof and features a roll-top closure system. Your equipment, food and clothing are well protected, even if the weather suddenly turns nasty. The Ergo X-Transition back system is ergonomically designed for the best possible fit. It has reduced contact surfaces for superior back ventilation and flexibility of movement. The spring steel frame is flexible and extra durable, and can also be removed to convert the Mountaineer to a lightweight soft pack. The Mountaineer 42 includes a stow pouch equipped with a tube duct and fastener where you can store a water bladder, for easy hydration on the go. The detachable and adjustable sternum strap has a SOS whistle for your safety whilst climbing.
