Jack Wolfskin Mountaineer 32 Backpack
Made by mountaineers for mountaineers. The Jack Wolfskin Mountaineer 32 Backpack is a waterproof mountaineering and ski touring pack that was developed in collaboration with the mountain guides at the Alpine School Innsbruck.
The Jack Wolfskin Mountaineer 32 Backpack is designed to have enough room for all of your mountaineering equipment. The main compartment is waterproof and features a roll-top closure system so your gear will stay dry. Climbing equipment can be clipped to the gear loops on the waist belt for easy access. A special pouch features under the flap at the base of the pack for your crampons, with a lashing loop to secure the head of your ice axe and trekking poles. This gear can also be lashed to the outside of the pack for easy access when you need it. The lid pocket has plenty of room for food and a shell jacket. A small zipped pocket can be found at the front for your keys and other important little items. A zip at the back provides access to a stow pouch for your water bladder. The anchor shaped zip pullers make it easy to open and close and the ski lashing straps are reinforced with cut resistant material to protect the pack from sharp ski edges. The pack is 100% waterproof and dustproof so everything you need is well protected when the weather takes a turn. Lastly, if you want to go fast and light, the Jack Wolfskin Mountaineer 32 Backpack can be stripped down to make a lightweight soft pack by removing the frame, lid pocket and waist belt.
