Waterproof Nubuck Upper

The waterproof nubuck upper provides exceptional protection and stability against the cool, wintry conditions. Your feet will remain warm and dry thanks to the waterproof properties which repel the wet weather so you can maintain focus and performance. Working alongside the waterproof nubuck is 200g Keen Warm insulation which works to keep your feet dry and comfortable by preventing weather entry in addition to allowing your feet to remain insulated. In addition, Keen Dry technology is also used as a proprietary waterproof, breathable membrane that lets vapour out without letting water in.

The Heat Trapolator system works by having three layers of innovative heat-trapping materials which are then sandwiched underfoot to hold warm air in. This process works a lot like the insulation seen in houses. A thermal heat footbed situated on the outside delivers woolly softness; in the middle, support cushioning; and inside, a thermal foil barrier to harness radiant heat. The footbed actively and effectively keeps the cold out and the heat in. As well as providing protection and comfort, the shoes promote efficient moisture management by wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to leave your feet cool, dry and comfortable. The gaiter ring hook enables you to fasten your gaiter to the shoe to protect you from debris and walking in intense conditions such as snow and ice.

Having the 4mm multi-directional lugs ensures exceptional grip and traction, perfect for your outdoor adventures. The dual climate nature of the outsole helps to focus on conditions such as ice and snow, where a regular outsole would not suffice.
