Injected EVA Midsole
An injected EVA compound resides in the midsole to deliver a soft, cushioned feel which is surprisingly lightweight to help improve performance. The EVA provides cushioning and comfort, offering a plush underfoot feel as you move. As well as providing the aforementioned cushioning, the midsole also promotes shock absorption, lessening the impact placed on your knees and joints. This is particularly beneficial if you are moving across more unforgiving terrain, where the potential risk of injury or discomfort is likely to increase. A luftcell air-injected PU insole exists for all-day comfort. The Elena is also treated with eco anti-odour technology for natural odour control inside of the shoe, helping to prevent the build up of odour causing microbes.
KEEN.All-Terrain Rubber Outsole
Keen have implemented their all-terrain rubber material into the construction of the outsole to provide optimal grip and traction, especially on more difficult, unpredictable ground. Having a high amount of grip and traction will enable you to move with comfort and confidence, knowing you have an outsole you can truly rely on. Flex grooves adorn the outsole, providing a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions.
