A softshell jacket that is designed to keep you warm and comfortable in testing conditions, the Mithril Jacket uses a variety of technologies to provide you with this high-performance protection. The main technology uses is WindStretch fabric. This material will provide you with strong wind-resistance, keeping you warm and comfortable within when the weather isn't the best. By simply deflecting the wind away, this will ensure that you won't be affected, especially in exposed spots. The material is also extremely efficient at retaining heat within it. The jacket will trap air inside, warming it up and providing you with a comforting layer of heat. The material will still allow a steady flow of air in and out of it for breathability. The jacket is reinforced with Duracoat. This surface treatment developed by Klattermusen improves the durability and resistance to wear and tear on the fabric. Without having to add any other materials, this also keeps the weight of the jacket low. Down the front of the jacket, there is a slanted angled zipper. This minimises the amount of abrasion that could occur when layering or zipping up to the chin. There is also an internal storm flap, which will provide another block to prevent air from entering into it. The high collar will provide you with exception wind protection at the top of the jacket, whilst it is also lined with a micro-fleece for comfort. Two pockets with zippers will give you a space for storing small items securely within. Extended sleeves will provide wrist protection, whilst the cuffs and the hem are elastic to seal in extra warmth. The back of the jacket is extended to ensure that you have extra coverage. Reflective details will improve you safety and visibility in low-light conditions. The WindStretch fabric is bluesign approved, meaning that the production of the jacket has been independently reviewed and found to be made with sustainable materials and processes. The jacket also uses Ultramid Bio-Mass Balanced Polyamide in its construction which is derived from renewable sources.
