GORE-TEX Upper
Constructed using a single-layer mesh upper, the Uragano GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes is extremely breathable and light, which will allow you to push yourself further and faster. The mesh that surrounds the upper allows cool air to circulate throughout its construction creating a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. Abrasion-resistant overlays reinforce the shoe's protective, trail-worthy state; increasing rigidity and defending your feet against roots, rocks and general hazards plus, a sock-shield gaiter provides further protection from stones and mud by preventing them from entering inside the shoe. As well as this, a seamless construction exists for complete comfort by reducing the risk of chafing and irritation so you can enjoy distraction-free strides. Completing the upper is a quick-lace system which allows you to quickly adjust the fit as you run. The lacing system is integrated with the upper to allow for the regulation of volumes and to provide more precise and stable support on traverse routes.
MEMlex Midsole
The midsole of the Uragano GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes uses MEMlex, an injected EVA compound that provides unmatched comfort and durability. Injected Moulded EVA midsoles differ from the standard compression moulded EVA midsoles for a high degree of cushioning and better elasticity. These features assist the propulsion phase of the gait cycle, making these shoe ideal for use on offroad trails. Furthermore, EVA injected midsoles drastically reduce the squash effect of the EVA over time, allowing the compound to maintain the same characteristics and a high performance for its entire duration. Completing the midsole is an exclusive Ortholite Mountain Running Ergonomic insole system. This 4mm thick insole is performance-oriented, bringing an optimal compromise between comfort and reactivity. This insole offers outstanding breathability and moisture management due to its unique open cell structure, keeping your feet cool and fresh at all times. The footbed offers long-term cushioning and retains over 95% of its thickness over time and won't flatten out for complete comfort even after you rack up the miles.
FriXion XT Outsole
Developed using FriXion XT technology, the Uragano GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes provides outstanding grip on all terrain. Ensuring outstanding durability; it is a soft, long-lasting compound with good grip levels. This type of sole is ideal for running off-road, but can also be used on-roads and on-the-track. The rubber outsole perfectly balances grip, durability and shock absorption to deliver comfort, stability and support while you clock up the miles. The stable base will give you a good platform to help prevent the occurrence of injuries on unpredictable terrain. The outsole also features an innovative Impact Brake System, which absorbs negative ground impact and helps traction. It also offers the option of fitting hobnails for use on snowy and icy terrain. The Uragano is also compatible with AT grip spikes which provide added traction, they can also be removed and stored when not in use.
