Nubuck Leather Upper
Constructed using a leather upper, the La Sportiva TX Guide Approach Shoes offer a wider range of protection to help you gain the maximum from your footwear. The soft nubuck leather ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a boot you can truly rely on. Additionally, the upper features a protective TPU toe cap that protects the front of the foot against trail hazards such as rocks and roots. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot.
EVA Midsole
The midsole on the TX Guide is designed to provide the perfect balance of fluidity, stability and flexibility. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is extremely firm and will absorb shocks instantly. This will prevent them from reaching the sole of the foot, and it will also improve the stability of the shoe by spreading the energy evenly. The EVA towards the top of the midsole softer, which will provide underfoot cushioning. Completing the midsole is an ortholite ergonomic footbed that provides ample underfoot cushioning and increased moisture management so you can go further for longer in complete comfort.
Vibram Rubber Outsole
Completing the La Sportiva TX Guide Approach Shoes is a Vibram MegaGrip outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound gifts you with an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. As well as this, the outsole has been fitted with an Impact Brake System, the outsole will assist with technical descents, which will relax you as you head down the hills.
