Breathable Sandwich Mesh Upper
Constructed using a breathable, single-layer 3D sandwich mesh, the Karacal offers supreme breathability, perfect for the longer runs where your feet will get warmer and expand. The upper is completely seamless to improve comfort, breathability and flexibility so that you can remain focused on your run. A shaped, thermo-form toe cap with a small extension of the outsole to provide you with additional protection whilst keeping weight low. Microfibre reinforcements at the heel provide stability at the rear of the foot and a padded tongue provides maximum comfort especially when locking the foot in place with the dual top eyelets to prevent forward foot drive during your run.
Memlex EVA Midsole
A dual-density EVA midsole offers an extremely lightweight and supportive feel that is also very flexible so that you can move freely without being held back. The foam provides superior cushioning and the high-density EVA works as an Integrated Rock-Shield for increased stability and protection on the trail. An Ortholite Mountain Running footbed provides excellent moisture management thanks to the open cell structure. This footbed is treated with anti-microbial agents to keep you feeling fresher for longer and is also washable for a more hygienic shoe.
FriXion Blue Durable Rubber Outsole
Featuring a FriXion Blue compound rubber, the outsole is extremely durable and provides great traction for uneven trails with an Impact Brake System. FriXion Blue is specifically designed to be hardwearing with superior grip meaning that the Karacal won't wear out as quickly as other trail running shoes with softer rubber compounds.
