The Akyra is an aggressive, stable, structured Mountain Running shoe that was inspired by the structural concepts of the art of origami.

A breathable, AirMesh Ultra-Comfort upper provides excellent ventilation and breathability to reduce the build up of sweat and moisture which may be detrimental to your performance. Flex-Guard microfibre inserts further enhance the comfort of the shoe, and help if you need them for medical requirements. TPU MicroLite Skeleton overlays add structure and stability while a light and protective TPU toe cap adds protection to the toe area from rocks, debris etc. A Trail Rocker system promotes natural outer heel-inner toe support of the foot.

An injected EVA midsole provides cushioning and support to help boost your stride and deliver extreme comfort along the way. The EVA midsole is great for trail running where extra comfort is needed especially on more difficult terrain.

The FriXion XT dual rubber sole perfectly balances grip, durability and shock absorption to deliver comfort, stability, and support while you clock up the miles. The stable base will give you a good platform to help prevent the occurrence of injuries and wear and tear on the joints. An impact brake system lugs provide enhanced traction to give a more assured footing.
