The poles can each be folded together for a pack size of 40cm at the push of a button to be stored easily in any backpack. Weighing in at just 240g, the Micro Vario are a real all-rounder.
Featuring an anatomically formed AERGON Thermo Long Grip, the edgeless and ultralight handles fit comfortably in every hand whilst the Leki Skin Strap provides an ultra-lightweight and breathable degree of security as well as maximum comfort and minimum weight. These trekking poles use an external locking device (ELD) with a special construction for even more stability and safety. The ELD is easy to handle with a push button that releases the pole tension meaning that you can focus on the trek ahead. Speed Lock 2 technology ensures extremely fast adjustment of the pole length making it a versatile piece of equipment for uneven trails. This technology is 30% smaller, 25% lighter and has a 20% higher holding force when compared to SL1. The Micro Vario are made from 100% pure carbon for a super-light yet stiff feel for optimal swing action and are designed to offer more precise pole use and the perfect grip on nearly all terrains. Lastly, the poles feature the Trekking Basket 2.0 to provide effective protection against sinking in and compatibility with every Flextip.
