One of the most vital aspects of a trekking bag is its ability to survive harsh terrain over long periods of time. As soon as you get your hands on the Manaslu, you can tell it has been built to last. The bulk of the bag has been made from a super tough 210D Ripstop nylon with a durable water-repellent finish, while areas prone to wear get an upgraded 500D fabric. Lowe Alpine use their women's specific VT Plus system on the Manaslu. It provides an adjustable lumbar fit and back length. The system is narrower, shorter and features different dimensions than a unisex or male pack, ensuring a comfortable, supportive fit. The adjustable, pre-curved hip pads and shoulder straps are padded for comfort and covered in mesh for breathability and grip. The bag has multiple entry points for your convenience - via the lid, via the bottom of the pack or via the large front zip, allowing you to remove items from the pack without having to pull everything out and repack. The lid can also be adjusted to provide an extra 15l of storage when you need it. The pack features an external lid pocket, an internal lid pocket with a key clip, two zipped hipbelt pockets, a front stash pocket and two mesh side pockets for 1L water bottles. The pack is also hydration system compatible. Other useful features include internal and external compression straps to adjust the load, walking pole and axe attachment points, daisy chain loops to attach extra gear to the outer of the pack, an SOS panel to store your emergency details, a sternum strap with built in whistle, a rain cover and a large grab handle to easily pick the bag up.
