Mammut Eigerjoch Light Insulated Hooded Jacket
The Eigerjoch Light is a high-performance insulating jacket with synthetic filling to help you reach ambitious destinations when mountaineering, climbing or ski touring.
The Eigerjoch Insulated Jacket is made from a strong ripstop fabric created from Cordura® yarn, the material is lightweight but extremely abrasion-proof providing you with peace of mind that the jacket will last whilst you are in the mountains. The insulation, which is made from up to 90 % recycled PrimaLoft® Gold synthetic fibers with Cross Core™ technology provides superior heat performance despite the very light weight. The Primaloft works by trapping heat released by the body in tiny pockets, mimicking down. The jacket features a helmet-compatible hood that provides additional warmth and offers a comfortable fit when wearing your helmet whilst climbing. A PFC-free waterproofing treatment has been used to make the jacket water-repellent providing you with weather protection when a light shower hits. The external pockets found near the hips are positioned to be harness-compatible. When not in use and you don't need the jacket, you can simply compress it for storage in the side pocket. Finishing the jacket, elasticated cuffs have been used whilst a partially elasticated hem has been used to trap heat and keep you warm when you need it the most. The easy-care Eigerjoch Light is ideal as an insulating layer in the layering system because it provides generous amounts of warmth despite its light weight.
