Waterproof Leather Upper

Constructed using a breathable mesh and durable leather upper of the Merrell Siren Traveller Q2 Women's Walking Boots ensure you are able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in, whilst the leather ensures long-lasting comfort yet provides ample protection from loose debris and rocks. The durable nature of the leather minimises the risks of wear and tear leaving you with a shoe you can truly rely on. A waterproof membrane has also been used within the shoes to seal out water and let moisture escape. The membrane developed by Merrell is guaranteed to seal moisture out to keep your feet dry. In addition to this, the membrane will let moisture out of it, which will mean that as you begin to sweat, the moisture and warm air that is building up within the boots can escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside of the boots. Engineered with a breathable mesh lining, the Siren Traveller Q2 works to keep you feeling damp-free and comfortable from start to finish. The bellows tongue prevents moisture and debris from entering the shoe, whilst traditional lace closure provides a secure fit locking the foot into the shoe to reduce in-shoe slippage.

Q FORM 2 Midsole

Specifically engineered for the way women move, the Siren Traveller Q2 uses a Q FORM 2 midsole compound to provide cushioning and support. Q form 2 technology is gender engineered to provide natural alignment and superior comfort. The dual-density foam midsole is sequenced into quadrants to guide the foot and promote a comfortable, efficient stride on the trail. Heel-centering technology compresses during a heel strike, creating a pronounced heel cup that ensures the heel is kept centred and the foot is stabilized, to absorb shocks and reduce fatigue. Combined with a kinetic fit TRI insole, the midsole works with the natural movement of the foot for complete comfort. Contoured like your foot the Kinetic Fit TRI insole features triple-zone arch support to provide light support and stability to all three major arches during your outdoor adventure. A moulded nylon arch shank provides a supportive structure between the insole and the outsole. It works to diminish the load incurred on your feet and calves over the course of your adventure the moulded nylon arch shank helps to reduce fatigue. Completing the midsole is M Select FRESH, an antimicrobial agent that works to reduce shoe odour to keep your feet smelling fresher for longer.

M-Select Grip Outsole

Developed using M-Select grip, the outsole of the Siren Traveller Q2 ensures durable traction and grip when and where you need it the most. Designed to work on both wet and dry ground the outsole for mixed terrain use. The tear-resistant durable outsole will hold your grip in any weather so you'll never have to worry about underperforming because the outsole ensures confident footing at all times. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing on varied terrain. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Completing the outsole are 3mm lugs which dig deep into the ground when braking or changing direction. The deep lugs are able to anchor the foot into the wet and muddy ground, securing you into place whilst also forming a solid base to push off from.
