EVA Upper
The upper of the >Merrell Hydro Drift Junior Sandals has been constructed using EVA. The EVA sits comfortably against the skin to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. It is also extremely lightweight and can be easily cared for making theses sandals perfect for both parent and child. Completing the upper is a dual hook and loop closure which allows you to perfect the fit on your little ones feet. The dual straps can be used to create a non-slip fit on the midfoot.
EVA Midsole
With supreme cushioning guaranteed from the midsole, the Merrell Hydro Creek Junior Sandals are ideal for little feet. The EVA Midsole will reduce the risk of injuries and fatigue, allowing you to push yourself further. The top half of the EVA will reduce the stress and weight placed on joints like the knees and ankles, as well as bones in the feet. As well as this, the midsole will protect the soles of the feet from impacts from below, for example on a beach if you step on a sharp rock, the EVA will instantly absorb the pressure. This will reduce the energy that reaches the sole of the foot, therefore protecting it. The energy created from the midsole flexing will be returned as rebound, which will give your little on an added spring in their step.
M-Select Outsole
Delivering supremely strong and durable grip on wet or dry mixed terrain, the M-Select Grip outsole will keep your kids firmly in control. Able to form a solid bond with any type of surface, the rubber will hold form a strong bond with the ground beneath it to anchor you in place. The rubber is also highly durable, which will mean that it will stand up against abuse, maintaining its shape and definition for long-term functionality.
