GORE-TEX Upper
Designed to keep your feet comfortable, dry and ventilated, the Merrell MQM Flex 2 GORE-TEX Walking Shoes have been constructed using a waterproof mesh upper. The mesh acts as a lightweight second skin to ensure you are able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in plus, to avoid damp feet, and dampened spirits. A GORE-TEX membrane supplies a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit construction has been specially integrated into the upper to reduce pressure points, wrinkles and noise. This results in a true fit that is lighter, more flexible and more comfortable than other GORE-TEX products. As well as this, a TPU toe cap in the upper provides protection from loose debris and rocks - so you can tackle any terrain with complete confidence. A bellows tongue keeps debris from entering inside the shoe. The integrated lacing system provides a secure fit to reduce in-shoe slippage, so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
EVA Midsole
The midsole has been constructed using different technologies to ensure long-lasting comfort and increased cushioning. EVA in the midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas, such as the arch and heel, holding the foot securely in place for a smoother transition and wear, and preventing discomfort and possible injury. Merrell's signature flexConnect technology has been used in the midsole to ensure enhanced ground connection. FlexConnect's dual-directional flex grooves ensure a secure fit as well as natural-feeling, serious grip to ensure agility and stability on any terrain. An air cushion in the heel ares of the midsole provides shock absorption and stability, reducing stress on the foot with each step. This also helps to maintain proper heel alignment. Completing the midsole is a kinetic fit base removable insole which provides flexible support for all-day wear. Contoured to your foot, the insole provides flexible intuitive support for connected and protected movements. Designed to gently support the foot in key areas of the foot to encourage muscles to stay in a relaxed athletic position. this helps to reduce fatigue.
Quantum Grip Rubber Outsole
