Merrell Trail Glove 6
The 6th version of the famous minimalist shoe is designed to mimic the shape of the human foot, keeping it in the position it would be in without shoes. It's a great option for someone looking to transition into barefoot styles.
Advanced Minimalist Fit
Merrell Barefoot 2 construction is designed to keep the foot in a natural position, with zero drop, to encourage natural running form. By hitting the ground with your forefoot, rather than your heel, your speed will increase and your likelihood of injuring your joints will be lessened. An external rear sling locks in the heel, whilst a pull tab made from 100% recycled webbing tightens the 100% recycled laces on the shoe, anchoring in your foot for a secure fit.
Recycled Mesh Upper and Lining
The upper is constructed with 65% recycled mesh for optimum air circulation and ventilation, meaning your feet can breathe. A lining made with 40% recycled mesh allows for temperature and moisture control by allowing heat and moisture to escape, and move to the outer of the shoe - keeping your feet feeling fresh and breezy.
BLOOM® Performance Midsole
A revolutionary midsole that provides shock absorbing power to increase endurance and protect joints and ligaments. This bouncy midsole channels energy from your last step to power you into your next one and is constructed with foam made from 10% algae biomass for a shoe that is resourceful and transforms green water into clean water in the process.
TrailProtect™ Rock Plate
An embedded rock plate between the midsole and the outsole protects the feet from rocks and debris, so you can run safely and comfortably, knowing that you can handle anything the trail throws at you. This rock plate not only protects, but still allows for dexterity under the foot, so you can stay in control.
Vibram® EcoStep Outsole
Finished with a Vibram® EcoStep outsole, made from 30% recycled rubber, for an innovative combination of sustainability and performance, which provides added durability and improved grip on wet and dry surfaces. 3mm lugs grip onto surfaces and tackle smooth, rough, wet, and dry surfaces with ease, so you can take your adventures to the next level in confidence.
Compared to previous iterations
Version 6 features and improved fit and increased abrasion-resistance. Compared to the prior version, Version 6 features a little additional support, a slightly thicker sole, and increased abrasion-resistance. It's a great option for someone looking to transition into barefoot styles.
