Performance Suede Leather and Mesh Upper
This shoe is made with a quality, breathable upper constructed with performance suede leather and mesh for lightweight durability that will keep your feet happy all day long. The mesh panels feature perforations that allow vapour, heat and moisture to escape, and encourage cool, fresh air to enter and circulate around the shoe - keeping feet feeling fresh. Breathable suede panels are strategically placed for increased strength and structure without heavy bulk, making for an incredibly durable shoe that will go the distance. The breathable mesh inner lining provides an additional layer of ventilation, whilst a protective rubber toe cap protects your feet from loose rocks and debris out on your adventures. The bellows, closed-cell foam tongue keeps moisture and debris out, and provides soft cushioning on the top of the foot. The upper is finished with a traditional lacing system to anchor the shoe to your foot securely, meaning you can be confident in every stride.
Merrell M Select™ FIT.ECO+ Blended EVA Contoured Footbed and Midsole
The advanced footbed and midsole are crafted from blended EVA to offer outstanding support. The blended EVA offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, holding the foot securely in place for a smooth wear. By supporting these keys areas of the foot, this midsole material can also help to offer enough support to help prevent against discomfort and possibly injury. The heel of the shoe is fitted with an Air Cushion which helps to keep the foot stable inside of the shoe as well as absorbing heel to help prevent injury that could be caused. EVA Foam has also been added to the midsole to offer long lasting, plush cushioning under the foot to keep the wearer feeling comfortable and stable on their feet as they perform. This mid section also includes a moulded nylon arch shank to provide you with lightweight support and stability; reducing the load sustained by the feet and calves over the course of an ascent.
Vibram® TC5+ sole
The Vibram® TC5+ outsole has been constructed from Vibram rubber which is extremely durable and practical. This rubber also allows the shoe to grip various terrain in various weather conditions that the wearer will come across as they explore.
