Highly breathable, quick-drying fabrics allow you to forge in creeks and climb through streams without being bogged down by heavy, wet shoes and soggy feet. The breathable mesh enhances ventilation allowing cool air to flow through the shoe to help regulate internal temperature and air out dampness for cool, dry comfort. Synthetic overlays increase the stability of the shoe and provide support, working with the integrated webbing lace system for a secure, locked-down fit when navigating slippy or tricky terrain. A synthetic toe bumper protects against bumps, grazes, and loose debris.
Moulded EVA Midsole
Constructed with a compression moulded EVA the Merrell Waterpro Maipo 2 delivers both stability and comfort for navigating tricky terrain. A Kinetic Fit BASE removable contoured EVA insole provides flexible, intuitive support for connected and protected movement, whilst a water-friendly top cover provides quick-drying comfort to keep you damp-free when exploring off the beaten track.
Vibram Outsole
The highly durable, long-wearing Vibram outsole offers excellent grip on a range of surfaces. Wet, muddy, slippery, or dry, the outsole offers a sticky grip to ensure you have assured footing no matter where your adventure may take you. A 3mm lug depth allows for optimal grip and traction to give you confidence and an assured footing.
