With a durable upper for overfoot protection, a softer and more responsive midsole with FloatPro Foam pods strategically placed under the heel and forefoot where you need extra cushioning the most. This version also includes a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry in the harshest conditions.

Breathable Mesh Upper with GORE-TEX Membrane

The Merrell Antora 3 GORE-TEX has been constructed using a breathable mesh and TPU upper; the mesh allows air to fully permeate the upper supplying cool, fresh air whilst simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air that resides in the shoe during heavy exertion. The mesh is also robust, making it perfect for use across rough terrain. TPU sections provide extra structure and durability. A GORE-TEX membrane provides waterproof protection to keep feet dry and comfortable. It seals out external moisture whilst allowing built-up vapour to escape, keeping feet dry from the inside out. A breathable, recycled mesh lining works with Cleansport NXT antimicrobial agents to keep you feeling cooler and fresher for longer. They tackle sweat and smells by penetrating and disrupting the reproduction of the odour-causing microbes in your shoes. The external rear sling locks in the heel, this, combined with the traditional lace closure system provides a secure fit, reducing in-shoe slippage for quick descents and sharp turns. For an eco-conscious touch, the laces and webbing are made with 100% recycled materials. The padded collar provides a soft, plush feel that further locks you in and feels comfortable.

Super Rebound Compound Midsole

Providing the perfect combination of stability and comfort, the Super Rebound Compound midsole keeps you protected when on varied and volatile trails. Upon every step, the compound will provide responsive cushioning, placing less pressure on your joints. This will help reduce fatigue and keep feet ache-free, allowing you to push yourself further. It also reduces torque, allowing for a smooth transition to the midfoot. The compound will transfer energy equally around the midsole, resulting in a stable and sturdy ride. Further enhancing the ride, the Antora 3 GORE-TEX features strategically-placed FloatPro Foam pods in the heel and midfoot, a medium-density foam that provides cushioning and high energy return. Underfoot, a removeable 50% recycled EVA foam footbed with a 100% recycled mesh cover provides step-in breathable comfort.
