Jacquard Mesh Upper
Utilising a jacquard mesh, the upper of the Speed Eco has a comfortable feel with a durable design and the ability to keep feet cool as well as dry thanks to the waterproof membrane. The jacquard upper provides enhanced protection against knocks, bumps, dirt and debris, for shoes with long-lasting properties. A bellows tongue further keeps out debris for added comfort on the trail. This upper has been made with 82% recycled jacquard for a more sustainable choice. A waterproof membrane ensures that water, rain and damp conditions are kept outside, keeping feet dry and cosy no matter the conditions. The boots have a mid-cut design with padded ankles, providing comfort and ankle support when manoeuvring over uneven terrain. The 100% recycled laces and metal hooks keep feet locked and secure, preventing in-shoe slippage. A 100% recycled mesh lining adds to the breathability of the Speed Eco, and a padded collar is soft and comfortable. The heel loop assists exit and entry and ensures carabiner compatibility.
Lightweight EVA Foam Midsole
To provide feet with a high level of comfort, an EVA has been used for cushioning and response. It is stable underfoot and comfortable. The walking shoes have a removable EVA foam footbed that works alongside a lightweight EVA foam midsole to provide stability and comfort. The footbed is lined with a Cleansport NXT treatment to prevent the build-up of odour-causing microbes, keeping the shoes fresher for longer. The removable EVA foam footbed is made with 50% recycled materials and has a recycled mesh cover.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Designed with 30% recycled rubber, the outsole offers traction and support in various conditions whilst being better for the planet. The outsole allows for flexibility for more comfortable stepping. The recycled rubber provides traction on wet and dry surfaces, ensuring you have confident footing no matter where you explore.
