Breathable Mesh Upper
The Bare Access 5 from Merrell is made from a superbly breathable mesh which allows cool air to flow into the shoe at the same time as releasing warm air, allowing the foot to stay cool and comfortable for longer. TPU overlays have been added to key areas along the top of shoe, helping to offer support where it is needed the most along the foot for a sturdy and comfortable wear. The Shoe is lined with a breathable mesh which helps the shoe to release warm air that is being generated closer to the foot, allowing the foot to cool down faster and the wearers comfort to stay constant. A Hyper Lock TPU heel counter has been added into the back of this shoe which helps to offer a secure feel and helps to keep the foot securely in place inside of the shoe.
Intergrated EVA Midsole
The Midsole is constructed from Intergrated EVA foam as it offers long lasting cushioning, keeping the underneath of the foot superbly comfortable and supported, ideal for longer training sessions. The EVA was also chosen for its superbly lightweight qualities, allowing the wearer to feel light on their feet instead of feeling weighed down and possibly slowed down.
FLEXconnect Outsole
FLEXconnect flex grooves have been added along the bottom of the shoe which allow to foot to bend naturally as well as helping the wearer stay fast and stable as they train across uneven terrain in various weather conditions. The M Select GRIP+ rubber that has been used to construct the outsole is superbly sticky, highly durable and uses anatomical grooves as an additional method of grip and traction.
