Mizuno Wave Rider TT Trail Running Shoes

Wave Rider shoes providing a special sole that can be worn for running on roads and even light trails. GORE-TEX Upper

Surrounding the upper of the shoe, there is a GORE-TEX membrane. This thin coating within the shoe will guarantee that your feet will stay dry, as it is completely waterproof. Despite sealing all air from entering, air and moisture is able to escape out of the shoe, which will keep you feeling constantly comfortable no matter what is thrown in your direction. Constructed using an AIRmesh upper, the Wave Shadow 3 provides the utmost in breathability and comfort. Lightweight and highly breathable for all-temperature comfort, the mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its perforated construction allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. Mizuno's DynamotionFit technology has also been used within the upper to provide a tailored, glove-like fit. The DynamotionFit system uses motion capture and biomechanics technology to bring you an upper that's designed to work with your foot through the gait cycle. Ensuring a secure and comfortable fit is the padded tongue and premium insock which sits comfortably against the skin for all day wear. The premium insock will add comfort directly to the sole of the foot, maintaining the feel underfoot over a long period of time. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Mizuno Wave Midsole

Mizuno's wave technology is embedded into the midsole to provide flexibility in one direction and support in the other. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising the comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed the energy from that is harnessed and is then transferred to the forefoot to then push you off and guide you onto the next movement. The wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. AP+ has also been used within the midsole to ensure high levels of comfort and rebound. A unique U4ic midsole platform encases the Wave plate to increase the level of comfort and performance provided by the Wave Rider, without sacrificing its stable nature. It is an engineered polymer that is light, responsive and cushioned, and it delivers you these properties, kilometre after kilometre, day after day. Then, beneath the wave plate and under the heel, a layer of U4icX foam exists to add yet another dollop of premium underfoot softness and impact protection.

X10 Outsole

Durability and traction arrive in the form of an X10 outsole. The extremely substantial carbon rubber allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike so you can run hard, knowing that your shoes can handle the heat. Mizuno integrates their Smoothride technology to minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. Smoothride begins working the moment your foot touches the ground; flex Grooves adorn the outsole to promote natural movement from the heel to the forefoot, initiating that rocking-chair motion for fluid, uninhibited strides. The wave ride TT is designed to be perfect for light trail and road running, as a result the outsole has been specifically designed to match this. The outsole is far more durable than that of the wave rider to ensure confident footing on harsh terrain. Deeper lugs also feature on the Wave Rider TT to ensure maximum traction on varied terrain so you can go from the city streets to tough trails.
