WaveKnit Upper

Mizuno have constructed the upper using a WaveKnit material to wrap around your foot for incredible, lightweight support as you run. This helps the shoe adapt to your foot, ensuring the perfect fit without sacrificing performance. Working alongside the WaveKnit is Mizuno's signature cooling technology, AIRmesh, which keeps your feet cool and dry by actively and efficiently wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. A padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin, preventing friction and irritation such as chafing while the traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel.

Wave Midsole

Wave technology resides in the midsole to provide exceptional cushioning and comfort, thus improving responsiveness and feel. Wave is also a unique technology which delivers cushioning and stability, adding resilience to comfort. U4ic is a unique midsole compound that rides and cushions like Mizuno's AP+ midsole but is approximately 30% lighter without any loss of comfort or performance. Similarly, u4icx delivers a more comfortable cushioned ride with a higher rebound, ensuring the most comfortable, energised ride.

Also operating in the midsole is SmoothRide, which provides an engineering approach to minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. Finally, Mizuno Intercool is a full-length midsole ventilation system reduces heat and humidity build-up inside the footwear. This helps to improve the atmosphere when running, lessening the distraction or discomfort provided by hot air.

X10 Outsole

X10 is the most durable carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike.
