Mizuno Wave Aero 19 Running Shoes
Glide through a fast pace run with this performance model that will spring you off the ground towards your next step with the combination of Mizuno Enerzy material and the extended wave plate into the forefoot.
AIRmesh Upper
The upper of the Mizuno Wave Aero 19 Racing Shoes is constructed with AIRmesh which will provide you with maximum breathability and airflow throughout the shoe, keeping your feet feeling cool and dry at all times. Additionally, the Aero is equipped with a new upper design which holds the foot for a more precise midfoot fit, keeping you feeling secure and comfortable at all times. The Aero uses DynamotionFit which has been designed to engineer shoes that work with the foot's gait cycle. As the foot bends, twists and stretches, DynamotionFit follow suits by mimicking the movements. Synthetic overlays are used on top of the AIRmesh which helps provide a supportive, yet durable fit, while the padded tongue and collar ensure step-in comfort.
Mizuno Wave Midsole
Inspired by nature, Wave is the industry's most effective midsole technology. The Mizuno wave's unique shape dissipates impact forces away from the foot for a smoother, more cushioned feel with every step taken. The midsole combines two compounds that help to boost comfort and cushioning. AP+ offers an amazing ride as the cushioning and comfort feel like new every time you run due to the huge improvement in durability properties. Additionally, Enerzy is a new technology created to deliver a higher than ever energy return and softness ensures the rebound of the shoes is optimal for your running level.
SmoothRide Outsole
By using a combination of midsole and outsole technologies, the sole provides a fluid, rocking-chair-like transition. As the foot hits the ground, SmoothRide kicks in with heel flex grooves promoting a natural back-to-front movement, which creates the rocking-chair effect. The heel of the sole uses X10 carbon rubber which allows for longer wear in high impact areas while providing maximum traction at heel strike.
