The Mizuno Stealth Star 2 Junior Court Shoe is very lightweight and doesn't compromise on grip and stability. This perfect all-rounder offers junior players a soft responsive midsole and good flexibility thanks to smooth bending grooves strategically placed in the forefoot.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Stealth Star is constructed from a superbly breathable mesh which offers a high standard of breathability at all times. The mesh allows cool air to enter and circulate whilst simultaneously releasing built-up heat, keeping the inside of the shoe as cool, dry and comfortable as possible. Additionally, synthetic overlays are layered to provide high support during lateral movements, keeping your child's feet safe and secure whilst performing at a high level. Not only this but they add to the durability of the shoe so that they stay in top condition for longer whilst protecting the feet from knocks and scrapes. An anatomically moulded, removable insole has been added inside the shoe to offer extra cushioning and support under the foot for more precise and comfortable wear. Finishing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot and provides a personalised fit.
Cushioned Midsole
The lightweight midsole provides superb cushioning and comfort properties. The midsole absorbs the shock and impact forces caused by the heel strike phase of the gait cycle and harnesses the energy created. Once the energy is harnessed the midsole transfers that same energy to the forefoot area of the midsole where it is used to push them off onto their next step, enhancing rebound properties.
Non-Marking Rubber Outsole
The non-marking rubber outsole provides superior traction on a variety of surfaces whilst bringing an increased level of stability thanks to its fully flat sole. It gives the base for your little one to power off onto their next step and allows them to turn and swivel sharply which is a key part of the majority of competitive sports. Specifically engineered smooth flex grooves have been built into the shoe to allow the player to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and change in direction. These grooves ensure better flexibility whilst a reduced amount of rubber gives a lighter feel.
