Providing a natural fit and increased durability, the Wave Exceed Tour 5 AC shoes boast a 3D Solid upper. Encasing your foot in breathable comfort the inner lining of the Wave Exceed Tour 5 offers superb levels of softness for maximum next-to-skin comfort. The upper fabric allows cool air to circulate making these highly breathable, removing uncomfortable heat build-up and humidity to maintain a regulated temperature that feet can thrive in. The outside of the 3D Solid is incredibly durable, protecting against lateral drag and abrasion whilst delivering essential support and stability needed for fast, dynamic movement. The shoes utilise Mizuno's iconic DynamotionFit, meaning they have a design blueprint which ensures the shoe mimics the foot's movement throughout the gait cycle, therefore providing the correct amount of material stretch, for a natural and free feeling. Working with the traditional lace closure, 3D Soft delivers a secure, locked-down fit and feel around the midfoot to keep you stable and supported for maximum speed and agility.

Mizuno Wave Technology

Mizuno's Wave technology is embedded into the midsole to provide flexibility in one direction and support in the other. The midsole cushioning has been updated, and Mizuno has added their Enerzy compound technology which works to absorb the shock of heel striking. This also provides you with soft and bouncy cushioning with amazing rebound properties, keeping you on the court for longer. Once the shock has been absorbed the energy from that is harnessed and is then transferred to the forefoot to then push you off and guide you onto the next movement. Providing extra cushioning in the rearfoot the Wave technology spares joints when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces and keeps the ankle in the right position for increased stability and support during fast, dynamic movement. The soles are also thinner and lighter, so they can be more flexible and supple. This outsole developed by Mizuno using DuRubber, will provide you with an extremely durable grip on the court to keep you in control. Allowing for longer wear in higher impact areas will provide you with outstanding grip over a long course of time. The heel strike will additionally have a solid grip with a wide range of court surfaces.
