The woven materials allow air to flow freely through the shoes, to ensure that feet remain cool and comfortable when clocking up the miles. The upper materials are soft and smooth to prevent irritation or chafing from occurring, whilst are also stretchy to allow feet to move more comfortably and freely for an enjoyable experience. A soft, padded tongue enhances the comfort and completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that allows you to get a locked-in, secure fit, as well as, helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

The Wave Sky 7 features a Mizuno Enerzy Core midsole to offer exceptional cushioning and energy return, for ultimate comfort from start to finish. Mizuno Enerzy Core delivers the highest benefits of this technology, which is the softest and most bouncy material ever created. This cushioning is 293% soft and provides 56% more energy return than previously used midsole materials, providing you with performance-enhancing strides. Working alongside this, the shoes have a Mizuno Wave compound, which helps enhance stability without sacrificing the iconic floating feeling of Enerzy Core, allowing comfortable, supportive running experiences.
X10 Carbon Rubber Outsole
A carbon-based rubber outsole completes the Wave Sky 7, to provide you with grip and traction, particularly at the heel strike. The rubber covers the heel, forefoot and midfoot to enhance durability, resisting the traumas of heel strike and toe-off to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. The heel strike will additionally have a solid grip with a wide range of surfaces.
