Mizuno Wave Skyrise 5 Women's Running Shoes
Daily runners can enjoy a floating feel with the Mizuno Wave Skyrise 5. It features MIZUNO ENERZY Core/MIZUNO ENERZY for soft cushioning, high energy return and MIZUNO WAVE for enhanced stability.
Stretch Woven Upper
The upper of the Mizuno Wave Skyrise 5 has been created with a stretch woven upper. The woven material provides a sock-like feel providing a secure fit so your feet remain stable and secure. Not only this, but the upper allows cool air to circulate the shoe whilst removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature so you remain comfortable when clocking up the miles. The shoes have a soft collar which wraps around your ankle, increasing comfort and reducing the risk of chafing or irritation. Finishing the Wave Skyrise is a traditional lacing system that provides you with a secure, locked-in fit preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring.
Mizuno ENERZY Midsole
Providing outstanding comfort and support, the Wave Skyrise utilises a Mizuno ENERZY midsole, which offers excellent cushioning and energy return. The midsole absorbs the shock without compromising on comfort, whilst the Mizuno Wave Technology not only enhances the in-shoe cushioning but also, increases stability. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward while the Mizuno ENERZY Core provides extra bounce in every step to keep you pushing during long runs.
X-10 Rubber Outsole
Providing excellent traction and grip, the Wave Skyrise uses an X-10 outsole. The rubber outsole provides superb traction on the pitch for quick and explosive movements whilst also increasing overall durability so you can continue with complete confidence. X-10 allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction during heel strike so you'll always feel in complete control. SmoothRide Technology also resides in the outsole providing a fluid, rocking-chair-like transition. As the foot hits the ground, SmoothRide kicks in to help minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration during the gait cycle, creating the smoothest ride possible.
