Breathable MeshUpper
Designed to keep you cool and comfortable, the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 12 have been designed using a breathable mesh upper that ensures constant airflow. The mesh allows cool air to flow whilst at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. Mizuno has used DynamotionFit to enhance the fit for additional comfort by allowing the shoes to work with your foot through the gait cycle. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that works to lock down the midfoot and provide a secure fit to reduce in-shoe slippage.
Infinity Wave Midsole
Mizuno's Wave technology is embedded into the midsole to provide flexibility and support. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed, the energy is harnessed and transferred to the forefoot to push you off and guide you into your stride. The Infinity Wave features two parallel plates that sit together with soft cushioning pillars in between to provide unrivalled cushioning and improved durability. The midsole also utilises U4ic, a unique compound which will provide you with high comfort and performance, providing you with a soft and cushioned landing on every step that you take. The compound is also extremely lightweight, which will help to keep the overall weight of the shoe down. Completing the midsole is U4icX which delivers stress-free cushioned rides with high rebounds.
X10 Carbon Rubber Outsole
The outsole of the Wave Prophecy has been made using X10, a durable carbon rubber which allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at the heel. This helps lessen the impact on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride and optimising gait efficiency. The outsole also ensures maximum grip and traction for a firm, assured footing so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again.
