Montane Minimus Stretch Jacket
A lightweight and breathable stretch 2.5 layer shell jacket which will work to keep you comfortable and dry - The Montane Minimus Stretch.
Fabric And Construction
The Minimus Stretch Jacket from Montane is made from a 20 Denier PERTEX SHEILD 2.5 layer fabric. This was specifically chosen as it is super lightweight but also offers full waterproof protection which is perfect for when exploring in harsh weather conditions. Another key benefit of this material is that also offers a great deal of stretch and therefore, allows the wearer to receive a comfortable, snug fit without causing them to feel as though their movements are being restricted. The seams throughout the jacket are back with micro-tape. This reinforces the seams to prevent water entering through them and also allows the jacket to sit smoothly against the skin, reducing the risk of irritation which is commonly caused by large and bulky seams.
Zips And Pockets
Two map-sized, mesh-lined pockets have been added to the sides of the jacket, providing secure and easily accessible storage space for essentials. The hand pockets also provide a convenient space for the wearer's hands which will shield them from the cold weather conditions. On the left-hand side of the chest is a YKK Matte Aqua Guard zipped pocket. This provides easily accessible storage space for items which may be more frequently used. A YKK Matte Aqua Guard zip also runs down the center of the jacket with a storm guard finish. This allows the wearer to adjust the amount of coverage and/or ventilation as well as helping to ensure to water seeps in through the front.
