Firstly, the Fleet Jacket is constructed from GORE-TEX fabric for durable waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable weatherproof protection. GORE-TEX Active Shell is utilised in the main body, providing highly breathable performance for high aerobic activities. GORE-TEX 40 Denier Rip-Stop reinforcement fabric is utilised in the shoulders and hip area for durable abrasion resistance when wearing a rucksack or harness.
Garments made with GORE-TEX Active fabrics are lightweight and soft, with excellent next to skin comfort, thanks to reliable moisture management. The fabric's construction keeps your body dry by reducing the accumulation of sweat so you stay cool during activity and warm during cool-down. With GORE-TEX Active fabric, you can put the garment on, leave it on and focus on the experience rather than your clothing.
The jacket offers an adjustable roll-away hood with three point adjustment and stiffened peak to ensure complete weatherproof protection and added coverage for the head. An adjustable hem with cinchable drawcord and adjustable cuffs help minimise weather entry and maximises comfort. In addition, the jacket features articulated arms with engineered tailoring that provides unrestricted freedom of movement and minimal hem lift when reaching, while a full-length YKK Aquaguard Vislon front zip allows easy layering and puts you in control of the ventilation. The front zip features an internal storm flap that provides additional weather protection. An Aquaguard chest pocket provides a safe and convenient storage space for small essential and valuable items, while zipped hand pockets provide ample storage for larger items and can accommodate OS maps. A mesh lining allows the pockets to be utilised for ventilation in drier conditions.
